How to Use

Always start with slip. Apply a serum, essence, or facial oil first — enough that the tools glide without dragging. Gua sha on dry skin pulls and can irritate.

Gua Sha — 3 to 5 minutes

  1. Angle it low. Hold the stone at roughly a 15° angle to your face, almost flat. Steeper means more drag, not better results.
  2. Neck first. Sweep downward from under the ear to the collarbone, 3–5 strokes per side. This opens the path for everything that follows.
  3. Jawline. Use the curved notch to cup the jaw. Sweep from the chin outward to the ear, 3–5 times per side.
  4. Cheeks. From the side of the nose outward toward the ear, along the cheekbone. 3–5 strokes per side.
  5. Under-eye. Switch to the thin edge and use feather-light pressure. From the inner corner outward, 3 strokes only.
  6. Brow and forehead. Sweep from the center of the brow outward, then from the brow up toward the hairline. 3–5 strokes.
  7. Finish with a final downward sweep from jaw to collarbone on each side.

Pressure check: firm enough to feel it, light enough that your skin doesn't turn red or bunch ahead of the stone. Always sweep away from the center of the face and down the neck.

Face Roller — 2 to 3 minutes

  • Large head: roll upward and outward — jaw to ear, cheek to temple, brow to hairline. 5 passes per section.
  • Small head: under the eyes and around the inner corner. Roll from the inner corner outward, light pressure, 5 passes.
  • Neck: roll downward only, from jaw to collarbone.
  • Roll in one direction, then lift and reset. Don't roll back and forth.

When to use it

  • Morning — for depuffing before makeup. Chill the tools in the fridge for 10 minutes first.
  • Night — for tension release and to work in your treatment step.
  • 3–5 times a week is plenty. Daily is fine. More is not better.
